Amanda’s photography is mainly inspired by rural life by the sea with an emphasis on mindful practice and slowing to see the beauty around us in small, often over-looked details.

“The biggest compliment I can receive about my photos is when people say I help them see things they might have otherwise overlooked”.

Her work also reflects her love of East Africa and the safari landscapes of Kenya, where recent travels have brought her a profound sense of peace and a lasting appreciation for a culture of resilience, resourcefulness, and community that continues to inspire her creative practice.

More recently, Amanda has embraced a new creative path through painting. Her abstract works are designed to quiet busy minds and encourage a sense of calm and presence, while her playful, whimsical drawings invite joy, kindness, and curiosity.

Her passion for celebrating artistic process and fostering creative community led her to co-found and co-lead Surfside Studio Tour.
