Erin is a painter, printmaker, and illustrator who loves to spend her time surfing, swimming, paddling and walking along the coast. Erin attended NSCAD University where she majored in painting, and has been creating this body of work for the past 8 years.

Life near the Atlantic Ocean has offered an endless flow of inspiration to the work that she creates. Her work explores the human connection and fascination with the ocean..

Her illustrations are made with ink and watercolour, paintings with oil paint and her primary form of print is relief (lino-cut/block printing), Each lino-cut print is an original artwork, as each one is an impression off of the carving that was made.

“The majority of my work is inspired by the ocean and my personal connection to it through surfing, swimming, snorkeling, beachcombing, coastal hiking and the plants and animals that live in and around the water.”
