Karyn Hollasch enjoys many artistic endeavors but clay is her true passion, and she is known and loved best for her pottery business Muddy Squirrel Studios.

From the humble beginning of selling a few pieces at a student craft market to an overflowing studio today Karyn’s passion for pottery knows no limit.

“I’ve never met a clay I didn’t want to work with or a technique I wasn’t eager to try.”

Karyn is inspired by nature and beauty in the everyday, the ultimate goal being to create pieces that are as pleasurable to use as they were to make. 

Trading in the West Coast for the rugged beauty of the Eastern Shore, and having her own studio, has been a dream come true.
