Lisa Batten is a clinical scientist turned potter who runs Best Kind Mug Shop which is located in Cole Harbour. Lisa is participating in Surfside Studio Tour from her home studio in Three Fathom Harbour, where she will be showing pottery demonstrations throughout the day.

Lisa is passionate about making pottery accessible to others and creating safe spaces for people to explore their art and be as silly as needed along the way.

Her work is inspired by her beautiful eastern shore surroundings, and her vibrant upbringing in Newfoundland.
