Sarah is inspired by the everyday magic of the natural world that surrounds us, from little peeper frogs, treasures found on the shorelines, to the veggies growing in her garden. These themes, blended with a touch of whimsy and fantasy, feature prominently in her work. Sarah loves working in bright colours and creating watercolour illustrations that will make people smile! Ultimately, she says she makes art that she enjoys and wants to see in the world, whether it's an art print for the wall, or illustrating something practical like a notepad.

Sarah graduated from NSCAD in 2008 with an Interdisciplinary Degree but is a self-taught watercolour painter. Her favourite things to make right now are sticker and bookmark designs - she says she loves making detailed, small things!
